Dominic Suszek of BSA Strategies along with
SFBI & FDIC to host BSA/AML Regulatory Panel Discussion

The South Florida Banking Institute and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation are hosting a BSA/AML regulatory panel discussion on Thursday, November 15 at 8:30am at the Hotel Sofitel in Miami, Florida. The event, entitled BSA/AML Emerging Issues, will feature a variety of speakers who will address topics related to the regulations and compliance of the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering Act. Among the speakers are Gale Simons-Poole, Deputy Regional Director of the FDIC and Assistant Deputy Regional Director, David. B. Crumby. Special presentations will also be made by leading experts including:  Jerry LiVigni, Senior Compliance Officer of the Office of Foreign Assets Control in Washington D.C., who will speak about OFAC-Compliance & Prohibited Transactions, Thomas Fleming, Assistant Director Office of Compliance Financial Crimes Enforcement Network Washington, DC, will give an overview of his agency and its responsibilities and Alcides Avila of Avila Rodriguez Hernandez Mena & Ferri, LLP, who will cover Customer Due Diligence and Risk Assessments.

In addition, Clemente L. Vazquez-Bello, Esquire, of Gunster, Yoakely & Stewart, PA., will lead the discussion on The Future of International Private Banking After American Express International.
